Subject: [news] Suspicious Activity ALERT
Given the recent crimes in the neighborhood, I have been instructed to
inform you to please report all suspicious activity including vehicles that
we may not know about to 911. This includes unfamiliar vehicles parked in
the neighborhood or driving thru and turning around. PLease call 911. Do not
approach these suspicious individuals or the cars as they may be armed.
REMINDERS:
Secure your houses (Lock doors and windows, keep garage doors closed)
Do not leave anything in your yard that could be a tool to get into your
house.
Lock your vehicles and do not leave valuables inside them.
Call 911 for ANY suspicious activity. (Frankly if we do not, right now a
call about some strange person walking through will be at the bottom of the
list, so, we don't lie, but we have to make it sound a bit urgent.
Especially, since we currently have a problem) Do not blow off someone
walking up to your door or a neighbors.
This includes, people using driveways to turn around in.
If you are going away, find a trusted neighbor to take in your papers, mail
anything that would potentially be left on your property while you are
gone. Put out the garbage on garbage days and put it back that evening.
Make it look like someone is home.
Take fliers off your neighbors doors if they aren't home.
Turn off outside lights during the day.
Watch your neighbors house too.
Basically EYES open, call 911 anything suspicious.
Be safe and do not approach suspicious individuals.
