Below is a note from a Pink Street neighbor: to bring you up to date...it
seems that one suspicious vehicle (Maroon 2 dr Ford SUV in the recent
attempted break-in's in the Pink Streets was recently towed, ironically away
from this neighbor's rental property on the west side of town. Seems those
suspects driving in SUV were dropping off yellow pages (as another Pink
Steet victim had noted that she rec'd two) and coming back to see who picked
there's up as an indication someone was home over the Holidays.....
 
PLease read the note below. THeir vehicle has changed but maybe not the MO.
If you see anything suspicious or someone delivering yellow phone books in
the vehicle described below, call 893-7780. Also, let me know. 867-8031 or
via email.

I just got off the phone with officer Ken Sharp. The burgundy vehicle they
believe the burglars were using has been found & towed. he informed me that
they are now using a grey 4 door explorer with damage to one of the doors.
 
They are stepping up surveillance in the neighborhood and have noticed many
folks still leaving their garage doors open. Please ask folks to keep your
garage doors closed & locked.
 
the suspects may be leaving a yellow phone book to see if home owners are
out of town. Please ask folks to let you know if they see phone books by
their doors.
