SYDNEY LEMIEUX NAMED AS BOYD HILL NATURE PARK SUPERVISOR

 

St. Petersburg, Fla. (February 16, 2010) - Sydney Lemieux, who previously was a full-time  Park Ranger at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, has been selected to fill the full-time Nature Preserve Supervisor position effective immediately.

 

Sydney, who has worked for the city of St Petersburg since 2008, has a Bachelor of Science degree and over 20 years in environmental education. She previously worked for Pathfinder Outdoor Education as a Teacher/Facilitator, Fairview Lake Environmental Education Center as an Environmental Education Senior Program Specialist and the New Jersey Audubon Society as a Teacher-Naturalist.

 

Sydney's responsibilities will include supervisory and participatory work in directing environmental educational programs, recruiting new fee instructors and assisting with major programs and events.
